The Bible shows us how the marriage relationship was created and designed by God for mutual companionship and procreation. Original sin entered the world through the context of marriage, and sin remains as our ongoing problem today. Therefore, we believe the Gospel is where true redemption and real healing can be found for our souls and for our marriages. Since Adam and Eve's marriage, God has been at work redeeming marriage relationships down through the ages. Christian marriage is a wonderful blessing from God, full of pleasure, growth and joy! Yet life together is full of ongoing challenges, as my wife and I have learned these past 2 decades. We know our Redeeming God cares deeply for us and wants marriage to speak Christ's Mercy to one another in the home and to watching the world. On our wedding day, the officiating pastor challenged us with these biblical truths. Since then, we have continued to grow in our understanding of Ephesians 5, which explains how "Christian Marriage" is a picture of the Gospel by God's Design!
